Hi, I’m Kara, the owner and maker at Barrel and Grain Woodcraft.

I’ve always been drawn to the process of making—whether I’m brewing a batch of beer or shaping a piece of timber. There's nothing better than putting in the work and getting a real, tangible result.

That passion is exactly what drives this workshop. I take reclaimed barrels and premium Australian hardwoods and, with a whole lot of care, turn them into distinctive bar gear. From flight boards to wine caddies, every single item is a hands-on piece of woodcraft built right here in my garage.

I make these pieces for those who understand that quality matters, whether it’s in the glass or on the bar. Like a good brew or a well-aged spirit, there’s a real satisfaction in enjoying something genuine.
