A: A genuine reclaimed oak barrel stave, walnut-stained to bring out the grain and sealed with two coats of Danish oil. The opener hardware comes in black, silver, copper or bronze — pick whichever suits your bar.

Q: Will mine look exactly like the photos?

A: Close, but not identical. Every stave carries its own grain, colour and history from the barrel it came from, and width varies stave to stave — that natural variation is the point, not a flaw. Two of these will never be quite the same.
