It’s heavy enough to stay put, and has four non-slip cork feet on the base so it grips the bar and won't scratch your high-end surfaces. Cleaning

Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed.
Never soak in water or put in the dishwasher.

Oiling

To keep the wood nourished and protected, apply a timber oil or wax (such as mineral oil or beeswax polish) every few months or when the timber looks dry.
Rub in with a soft cloth, let it absorb, then buff off any excess.

Storage

Keep out of direct sunlight and away from extreme heat or moisture.
If your item includes metal parts, dry them thoroughly after cleaning to prevent rust.
